Showing our Children who God is.

 

 

Psalm 103:8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

 

Children don’t understand who God is. That’s why it’s our role as parent’s to show them the attributes of God in our own character. It’s through us that they will find out who God is. Telling them all the characteristics of God and then living a life that doesn’t reflect those will only lead them to confusion. Seek a life that is pleasing to God and your children will quickly see who Christ is by watching you. Remember that they may not remember the words you spoke over them but they will remember the way you acted and reacted in circumstances.
